  1. Know exactly the type of service you will be receiving & what is and is not included in that service 

  2. Determine if you are eligible for any government assistance via My Aged Care site?

  3. Are the staff experienced trained & suitably managed? Advanced Care Australia’s staff are motivated and skilled support workers, with a passion for providing a high quality service to clients and their families. All staff have been screened including federal police checks, and have appropriate qualifications to meet our clients’ needs. Staff are fully insured for Workcover, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. 

  4. How much will it cost? can I pay online ? Direct Debit can be arranged or you can pay via credit card or online banking 

  5. Are Advanced Care an accredited service provider ? 

    We are  Approved  Providers & operate a 'Human Services System' which complies with all requirements of Human Services Qld Scheme HSQS:2012   ACA are also current holders of a Service Agreement through the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services Qld;   National Approved Provider System (NAPS).  Department of Human Services 

  6. What is the minimum service time?  absolutely from as little as 1 hr to drop in support 

  7. Can I just have some short term care ? absolutely from as little as 1 hr to drop in support

This is probably the stating the obvious but we have found over the years that every person's support needs & living arrangements are totally unique & as such we need to have these details to best assess your needs & enable us to provide you with the absolute 'best fit'  for you /& or your loved one.

We can also offer a free over the phone assessment that will help you identify if you are eligible for a CDC /Home Care Package  to assist with covering costs.

Staff Qualifications: 

Here are just some of the mandatory qualifications you can expect our staff to hold: 

Minimum qualification – Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support

 First Aid and CPR

 Safe Manual Handling

 Experience in all aspects of Personal Care / Meal Preparation / Transporting

 Specialist Skills / Qualifications – Palliative Care / Mental Health / Dementia Care / Behaviour Management / Bowel Therapy /

 Screening – Australian Federal Police Check / Blue Card (Working with Young People) / Positive Notice Card (Working with   People with a Disability)
